Asus has officially decided to make a new reader of ebooks, the new Asus DR-900 in at CeBIT. There is little to do with the DR-750, but if that is similar to information that was published under the name DR-950. It is the first to include a 9-inch display of electronic ink, resolution 1024 × 768 pixels and touch. This causes the reader to dispense with buttons across the surface beyond the basics, to move between pages and on and off the reader. It is one of its strengths to compete against other competitor who are driving the market like Amazon Kindle or Sony Reader.
With 4GB of internal memory, it supports PDF, TXT, EPUB and MP3 audio, headphone jack and also an optional WiFi and 3G modem complete their characteristics. The fully charged battery of this reader can support 10,000 page views.
